Tiger BioSciences Showcases Robust Clinical Evidence for Its Products in Support of CMS Local Coverage Determination

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA, UNITED STATES, November 6, 2025 — Tiger BioSciences announced on November 1, 2025, completion of a comprehensive submission to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) containing peer-reviewed clinical study results and scientific data in support of a new Local Coverage Determination (LCD) for Skin Substitutes.

As a leader in cell and tissue technology recovery, development, and distribution, Tiger BioSciences provided CMS with peer-reviewed publications and findings demonstrating clinical effectiveness of its products—completeFT® and caregraFT®—across chronic and complex wounds.

Oliver Burckhardt, Co-CEO, stated: "Our submission to CMS reflects Tiger BioSciences' commitment to advancing evidence-based innovation in wound care."

The submission includes clinical manuscripts, scientific abstracts, posters, R&D manuscripts, and a journal compendium totaling 24 documents showcasing outcomes for patients with serious, hard-to-heal wounds that, if untreated, risk complications including amputation or death.

Tiger BioSciences is currently conducting two randomized controlled trials evaluating caregraFT® and completeFT® against Standard of Care for venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and pressure ulcers.

The company operates as a vertically integrated cell and tissue technology firm committed to patients, providers, and donor families. Products are distributed through Extremity Care, LLC and Tiger Wound Care Medical, LLC.
